Billie grew up as the youngest of 6 children. When he was 10 his father died of lung cancer. His mother soon became a waitress at a restaurant named Rod's Hickory Pit, where Mike Dirnt worked as a child. Billie recorded music all throughout his life. At the age of 5 he recorded "Looking For Love," an old Elvis tune. Even though the song didn't get much airplay he went on. In 1987 Billie and Mike Dirnt created a band called Sweet Children (which soon became Green Day). In June of 1994 Billie married his long time girlfriend of 4 years, Adrienne Nesser.They now have 2 children; Joseph Marcicano in March of 1995, and Jacob Danger Armstrong in September of 1998.

Mike was born into poverty. His mother was a heroin addict and Mike was soon adopted. His adoptive parents divorced when he was 7. Mike soon left to live on his own, including renting a room in Billie's house. He joined Sweet Children with Billie in 1987 and both have been playing together since they were 11. Mike got married in August of 1996 to his ling time girlfriend Anastatia, and they had a daughter in April of 1997 named Estelle-Desiree. They have now broken up in good terms. These days Mike has a new girlfriend named Sarah he met in 1998, and are living together in Oakland with custody of his daughter. |

Tre Cool was born in the Mendocino Mountains, about an hour and a half from Berkeley, with 2 other siblings. Tre's father raised him, a Vietnam vet, and built houses for people around town. His father built a house for friend Lawrence Livermore and Tre soon joined the Lookouts at age 12. As all of you should know Tre joined the band in 1991. He was giving drum lessons to former drummer John Keffmeyer (Al Sobrante) when he was noticed by Mike and Billie. Tre was first married to his girlfriend Lisea Lyons, in April of 1995 and had a daughter he named Ramona, after the Romones. Tre and Lisea later got divorced. This past March Tre Cool married his girl Claudia and took a 2 week honeymoon to Hawaii.
